Mine actually came with 32MB Cache? Apparently Western Digital sometimes ship these with upgraded cache; consider it a 'free' upgrade.

Comment: This HDD was bought for the PS3 as my 60gb origional was full.
Procedure was time consuming but easy enough.

hard drive has been in for a couple of months now and have had no trouble what so ever.
Plenty of videos on youtube if you are thinking of doing the same thing.

Comment: I bought this Hard Drive as a replacement for my MacBook, after the Fujitsu hard drive failed. (avoid them!) The installation was hassle free, and I have been very impressed with the product. The actual drive takes next to no noise, and and nice a quick at powering up. (Can I just note for Mac users, I did not need the EMI shield!)
What's more, it from Amazon arrived in only 3 days using Free Super Saver Delivery. Overall, just a perfect replacement drive.

I don't know about all the other people that complain about their drive's dying, but mine has been fine so far, apart from a odd squeak noise the other day.
