Summary: Would prefer a docking station that works
Comment: I don't see that there's a great deal wrong with the sound quality of this station, it's certainly better than a number of others I've heard. However, after buying mine in December 2009, the power pack stopped working a few months later. I exchanged it for a new one, and the power pack has again (July 2010) given up on me. Needless to say, I'll be getting my money back and buying something that lasts longer than 3 months.

Comment: Had an earlier version which was excellent but I blew the speakers by playing it on full volume for a long period.This version is similar but has a remote control.Very handy for those balmy nights sitting outside and being able to control the volume so as not to annoy the neighbours.Great wee portable unit for holidays, camping etc..(Reminder)Treat the volume with respect and the speakers should give you no problems

Comment: I'm happy with my purchase, and can't really fault it at this low price.

Yes, if I'd paid a lot more I would expect more, but this little player keeps me company when I'm doing my kitchen chores, with a fairly decent bass output, and a nice clear sound. Not too tinny! And it fits my old, old iPod!

The only thing I've noticed is a very slight hum when switched on, but once the music is playing the hum is not audible.

Highly recommended if you're just looking for something cheap and cheerful, but don't buy it for a rowdy party!

Comment: This is the best qaulity sound from any thing so small i have ever heard ,amazing the bass is making the room dance ,and for you who think this has no bass,i think you should have a look at what you are pluging in to it ,ipods have never been know for giving out a good bass sound,i have a brilliant sony minidisc player and the i-station 7 does it proud ,outstanding to say the least ,very hard to fault this beautiful musical dream machine ,so clear and bass to die for ,really pleased,bit of a looker too
