Summary: The business!
Comment: I have had iPhones since they were first released 3 years ago and my main gripe (only) is that the batteries don't hold enough power. Now Apple have resolved that in some degree with the new iPhone 4G but I can't afford to upgrade and my contract doesn't end till April. So what alternatives. well this is the solution.

This nifty case has its own battery in it. So easy to set up. two part of the case and each slides onto the iPhone 3G or 3GS. It comes already charged so you have two choices. Leave it turned off and its a great hard case which will allow your iPhone to use its current battery. Or you can turn in the case and the battery recharges the iPhone giving you nearly twice the normal battery load.

That suits me fine as I am out on meetings for a day with no battery charger and I now know that I can use the Mophie and get through the day.

Best bit of the Morphie is that you can check how charged it is bu pushing the button on the rear and it shows by using 4 lights how much power is left.

Yes it does make your phone a bit bulkier but thats no problem to me.

I am so glad I bought this.

Summary: best charger case for iphone
Comment: Ok so ive tried various charger cases for my iphone and this is by far the best.It gives you a full charge backup doubling your battery life,it fits nicely around the phone making it seem like part of it.it also has a battery life indicater on back of case.when switched on into charge mode if the phones already charged power will be taken from the battery case first and then from the phone. The case is also robust ive dropped my phone 3 times lol with minimum damage to case only thing to remember though no screen protecter on case,i didnt find this a problem but some people might.overall the best charger case ive found.

Summary: Does what it says
Comment: The case is quite stylish (it helps to put a screen protector on, though), and it extends battery life significantly. Worth the money.

Summary: Failed after one use :(
Comment: I attached this to the phone and all looked good. Though after a couple of hours the battery stopped charging. I removed the battery and charged it using a standard iphone plug. After charging pressing the status light revealed it was charged ... all good in theory! I was away the following weekend so attached the battery as my iphone 3g was starting to get low and nothing, none of the status lights lit up so I was left with no extra power and a flat battery, certainly NOT what I was expecting for sixty quid!

Sending back to seller which seems I have to pay the return postage so not happy with that either :( I will update this comment once I get a replacement.

Summary: The business, although expensive
Comment: This is a really neat piece of kit. My iPhone 3GS fits snugly into it and it also helps to protect the phone. It does make the phone heavier and chunkier feeling, but I actually like this. It is a truly professional item and feels really good.

I use my iPhone as a GPS unit for walking (the RouteBuddy app) which is fantastic, but really battery-draining. After a two-hour walk, you get a message that your battery is down to 20%. Time to switch the Juice Pack out of standby mode into charging mode. I haven't yet got to the point that the Juice Pack also runs out, but I get the impression that it would last another couple of hours if you weren't using anything too power-hungry.

I like the fact that you can charge it with the iPhone in situ or separately - the unit that comes with it will charge both the phone and the Juice Pack (both can be charged from a PC USB port as well). My only negatives are the price - it is expensive - and the fact that you have to use a different plug to charge it with. It's not a standard iPhone lead. It's certainly much more portable with this pack installed than some of the charging packs that plug into the base of the iPhone, which extend the length of the iPhone by a couple of inches and don't really feel secure. This is as snug as a bug in a rug. Highly recommended if you can afford it.
