Summary: Good MP3 for the money although first one was faulty.
Comment: When I first got it I was realy pleased with the way it looked and how easy it was to use. I bought it for the great sound quality everyone kept going on about but was let down by the lack of volume, even with the controlled volume turned off it is still to quiet for me. Unfortunately, after having it for just over 1 month, for no apparent reason it has just stopped working. GRRRR. Amazon have been very helpful with resolving this, even though I have had it longer than 30days. They are sending me out a replacement asap and have apologised for any trouble this may have caused me. Great service. Here's hoping the new one has no problems.

Summary: The best MP3 Player I've owned!
Comment: Was a bit put off by a number of negative reviews for this product, but purchased it anyway and have not been disappointed. I rarely read manuals (!), so rely on the equipment being logical and easy to use. This MP3 player was eactly that- and I was up and running in no time. Can't believe I wasted so much time with my previous Archos MP3 player. This Sony Walkman is easily the best MP3 Player I've owned!

Summary: all the flexibility of a tape player
Comment: I knew in advance that you can't create and save playlists on the machine itself, but I didn't realise that meant you're stuck with one choice in the 'now playing' list too!

You can only add the complete contents of one album/folder to the 'now playing' list. That means I can no longer choose to queue four tracks from one album followed by one from another while I'm walking along. Either I'd have to wait for each track to finish, then scrabble about picking the next... or have had the foresight to have created exactly those tracks in that order as a playlist, in advance, on the computer. AAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!

Otherwise it is fine: sounds very good for an mp3, easy to get the hang of... but I'm so frustrated by this little problem I'm looking to ditch it as soon as possible.

Comment: I bought this as a present for my boyfriend and was very happy with it. At the reduced price, it was amazing value, particularly when considering it has 16GB of storage. Great sound and a lovely looking mp3 player. The only downside was that it didn't come with a mains charger.
