Comment: I bought these speakers in 2006 for my ipod video 30GB. I used them literally everyday, very handy to just fold up and take away. I took them on holiday plenty of times. They go really quite loud considering they're pretty small. I never noticed any sound quality reduction in the time that I owned them. The only drawback I found was if they were used with batteries if the batteries were not brand new or fully charged the music became rather crackley. I also would recommend investing in the very slightly more expensive set which come with a handy remote.
But overall I would highly recommend these speakers, they're brilliant for the price and so durable. I recently managed to crack the plug of my set so I upgraded to a double dock speaker for an ipod and iphone which was RRP'd at £145. Quite honestly I can't tell the difference in the sound quality and my new speakers aren't remotely portable. I would buy these again anyday.

Its a good product, good sound quality. I purchased this last year and it lasted 8-9 months. I am not able to charge or play from my apple products anymore, but good thing is I can still use the 3.5mm jack to play the music from my ipod.

Pros:
1. The sound quality is good for 1 room
2. Its really Compact and is a good designed product

Advice:
1. Dont dare to touch the aluminium speakers, they tend to get damaged as they are delicate. It has a good design though to cover the speakers with a plastic cover to avoid accidental damage.

2. Always ensure proper dock connectors are used, else the base pin will get damaged and the ipod wont even charge or play music and you will end up using the product as just a speaker than a docking station.

Nice to Have:
1. The base is folding and thats where the power point and the 3.5mm jack are provided. So while you fold the dock base, the wires needs to be removed. Had the sockets on the standing back, then would be better to store with wires attached.

Otherwise, I would recommend people for buying this one. Ensure you buy black color as white one seems to get dirty soon.... but yes, the colour looks bright even after a year, with a single cloth wipe.

Good product and last about a year of regular usage.
